About The Author

Gerald was born in Sacramento California; a fifth generation Sacramentan. He grew up in the area graduating from Elk Grove High School in 1971 and eventually California State University, Sacramento. He joined the navy in 1972 and served on an aircraft carrier: the USS Enterprise. He did tours in the Asian Pacific, Viet Nam, and the Persian Gulf.

After leaving the Navy, he met Rikki, his wife of thirty-five years. They have one son, Joshua, and one grandson, Kellen.

Gerald moved his family to Oregon in 1993. He worked in the credit union field for twenty-five years, eventually leaving his career as Chief Financial Officer to start a professional fiduciary business with his wife in 1999: Cornerstone Services, Inc.

Gerald is active in drama, music, loves to hunt, fish, camp, restore old vehicles, and just spend time with family.

Gerald’s first book was a self-help guide to finances called “Free From The Love of Money,” self published in 1988. His second work, “19Q,” was published in 2011. It is a science fiction thriller about genetics gone bad and a prequel to his third book: “The Memory Project”.
